    Widening the stock wheels

    I thought I would share some pictures of a little project another member of the forum is involved in. These are meant for the rear only. Tires will be mounted in the next day or two.

    What size tire will be installed? Is the V lowered?

    Who did the widening? What is the rear width of the rim now?

    325/30/19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup. No, the V won't be lowered.

    Vaughn Machine did the widening. The wheel width is now 10 7/16 with a back spacing of 8.4.

    looks nice. I'm guessing you had to hack up 2x sets of rear to get the 1 set of wides

    I am working on the car some today but it is raining here right now. Once I get the tires on I will drive the car then take some pictures.

    No, I actually bought a set of front rims and sent them to Eric who built a new back and welded it to the stock rim.

    I wouldn't mind those!
    I bought wheels like that for my Vette that were on a car from a magazine cover.

    I hope you did some serious measuring. I can't see how those monsters will fit unless you did a mini tub.
