    Looking for wheels...

Looking for summer wheels that will fit the V, but I'm not looking to spend $1000+ per wheel... I'm trying to find something in the <$500 / wheel range... Anyone have any suggestions? Any 1 piece forged wheels...? Forgestar is the only thing I've found in this category so far...

    Re: Looking for wheels...

I personally like the OEM wheels. I do not know if you will find a rim that is solid construction for spirited summer driving <$500.

Most people will spend less on winter rims, but difficult for summer rims that are high quality. One of the the most important component of safety is the wheels, tires, and brakes.

Here you can get refinished factory rims for under $300 and then you could get them finished, powder coated or whatever nd probbly come in under $500

You can spend another $70 for the 4 center caps

Just another suggestion. Perhaps others will chime in with help.

    Re: Looking for wheels...

OP, you have discovered the "Cadillac tax" when it comes to wheels. I have also chosen to stick with the OEMs as they are great-looking and as one of only around five 2G Vs in my large metro (none of which I see on a daily basis) be unique. You will find nearly nothing that fits our car that is high-quality in the price range you request. I decided to put the 4-6k I was going to spend on the aftermarket wheels in the stock market.

I almost forgot about this one.

These are $599 a wheel. You can PM them to ask about weight as these are sure to be heavier than the stockers.

TSW Nurburgring and Donington wheels should fit, but they are not forged and they do not display the weights

    Re: Looking for wheels...

Is the 5.1 the only cast wheel offered by ADV.1 or are others out?

And do you know if other TSW's will fit?

The TSW wheels are roll forged and are around 300 a piece, looking for a set of those in 20" with track R compound tires!
