Was it completely necessary to kill and skin a wild squirrel so that you could have black chrome wheels? Sure they look good, but at what cost to the environment?

lol, that'd be a big arse squirrel...I had the wheels delivered to my parents house. UPS by my house is too shady as i've had too many expierances with damage or missing items around here. Atleast I know the UPS man by my parents house

Awesome wheels man! I live in a nice neighborhood, but it amazes me that when I've had big ticket items (wheels, exhaust, etc.) delivered to the wrong house, certain neighbors sit on the goods until I come ask if they saw a delivery with my name and address on it. It takes a village..........to steal your shoes!!!!

Did you get your car yet and mount these wheels?

If not, I might have to Photochop them onto a black Vee to see what they look like!

I'm pretty excited to see them on your car!

WOW! Those look amazing! I wonder how that would look on my silver V. I may have to look into that. Very innovative by the way! You did real good!

Where did you get those done?

They look outstanding. I think something along those lines would look fantastic on my new '09 Thunder Gray CTS-V that's finally on its way...

    Thanks!

    Many Thanks!

I appreciate it. Looks like something that will definitely be on my "to do" list as soon as I can find a second set of wheels for the right $$$$.

Check Ebay. Right now, I saw a set of painted take offs on auction. Along with a couple of used 09 Vee's.

I'd post up a link, but I don't know if that's against forum rules. I did a search for 2009 CTS-V and they popped up.

I can't wait to see your wheels on your car! I think that it's going to be SICK!

I photochopped a black one, but couldn't get the black color right. If you want me to finish it and post it up, I will. It might give you an idea what it will look like.

If you could photoshop a Thunder Gray CTS-V pic and somehow show the black chrome wheels that would fantastic. I have been trying to figure out how to do that properly ever since I saw the black chrome wheels. Unfortunately working with computer graphics and photo programs is not my strong point.

Please, if you can do it I would love to see what you come up with.

    Thanks!

    Dallara

(p.s. I have been watching those CTS-V wheels on e-Bay since they were put up, but it appears they aren't going to make whatever his reserve is at any reasonable price... At least for the moment.)

That's a pretty expensive and ineffective way to keep from being reminded to wash your wheels. Brake dust needs to be removed.

This is a quick job and if you'd like to see the wheels lighter or darker, then that would'nt be a problem. The hardest part is getting the right shade of chrome.

I used Short-Throws car. If it's a problem using the picture of the car, then Please tell me and I'll remove it. It was the best one of greay that I had to show off the wheels.
