Which auto trans & brake fluid are our Vs filled with?

Mine is a 2011 CTS-v and some say ours is filled with dexron 4, but some say it's dexron 6.

And i'm definitely sure that it must be dexron 6.

Also, break fluid seems to be filled with DOT3 as it's marked on the cap.
Is this right? Shouldn't it supposed to be DOT5.1??

My friends checy cruze is filled with DOT3!!

Its Dexron-VI. I was actually told by a tuner to fill the trans about 1.5 quarts over full, which is a pain because there is no filler can and you have to pump it in thru the check hole underneath. My car was "hesitating" on hard shifts from 1-2 and 2-3 gear. Although I couldn't get a full 1.5 quarts extra in, I got about 1 quart in and it seemed to solve the problem. The trick is to do it when the trans fluid is cold or you will never get the extra in due to the fluid being warmed up and expanded.

As for the brake fluid, your guess is as good as mine on that one.

It is filled from the factory with DOT 3. The manual recommends changing to DOT 4 if you are going to the track...
