Finally, an All Season / Transitional tire in stock sizes
For those that live in transitional climates where the temps are pretty evenly split above and below 45 degrees (with minimal snow) during the year, Goodyear introduced the Eagle F1 Asymmetric Ultra High Performance All Season tire. Currently, it's the only all-season tire, that I know of, available in stock sizes.
500 tread wear and $243 (f) and $280 (r) at the Tire Rack.

Re: Finally, an All Season / Transitional tire in stock sizes
I put those in my previous car, a '12 Mustang GT. I was very skeptical (all seasons=no seasons), but I was very happy with these tires. They hooked up much better than the OEM Pirelli summer tires at temps <55 F, which is here virtually every morning for 10 months of the year. They handled 400 whp very well, on both wet and dry conditions, and when they broke loose, they did progressively and very predictably. I did go out with them in the snow to test them and I got stuck, so not very nice in the snow, lol.
