    Midnight sable trim upgrade

Has anybody upgrades their interior trim? When I ordered my V wagon without Recaro's I couldn't get the trim, now I want to order the components. Any help with part numbers would be appreciated.

Personally... I don't think midnight sable interior trim would look good. And you would probably have to comb it often to keep it looking good.

However, the part numbers for the Sapele trim are listed in this post:

    Hope that helps

I've been calling it sable assuming the color was named after the color of the critter that is used for its fur. Never heard of the tree till now. Thanks.

I am a guilty party myself. I am in the car all day looking at the forum on my iPhone, typing responses. Auto spell and fat thumbs mixed with driving doesn't mix well!

I think fur trim sounds cool. Talk about custom...

    Re: Midnight sable trim upgrade

    I like trim (prefer furless)!!!!!

Funny, when I am on the laptop I try to use good grammar and spelling etc. When I am on Kindle HD I revert to texting spelling and grammar........

Doesn't mix well, doesn't make it safe for the rest of us to be near you either.

Basically, we're talking about replacing hard wood with fur trim. Good thread.

I have the part numbers I needed & I learned something about trees in Africa & sables (they're more brownish than blackish and can interbreed with pine martens)
    ...so I'm happy
