D3 Air Inlet Ducts Installed (Pics)

Just installed these D3 Air Inlet ducts with LED bars the other day... They replaced the OEM fogs and housings.

Nice.... Looks good. Is it me or does the lights bar on the drivers side look like it comes in a bit on the bottom.

No it's the same as the passenger side just looks weird from the angle the picture was taken.

Ahh... makes sense. I am thinking about doing this to my car.... how bad was the cut out to make it fit? I hate to cut anything out but I like the look much better than stock.

    Patriot Missile leds Small.jpg

Here is a picture I took of the Patriot Missile in the Pocono's at the Cadillac Challenge a few weeks ago -- I am thinking of doing the LED's on my car also -- but not sure yet.

The cutting wasn't that bad, I used a dremel with a cutting wheel on it. The templates that came with them for the cutout weren't to helpful though so I just ended up free hand cutting it. Also the fitment in the bumper isn't that great, or well at least mine didn't fit to good. I really had to stretch them to get them
In. Overall, they look badass when they are on the car... Soo much better then the oem fogs. I guess the only hard part is getting yourself to cut a hole in your car haha. You probly also want to paint them like I did cause they come in like a flat black primer and needed alittle sanding work.

They look great. Do they only come in the flat black? A body color match may look good or a carbon fifer. How long did it take to install?

DRL650, currently they are only available as ready to paint. Install should only take an hour or so and the wiring is plug and play.

The Factory "brake ducts" dont do anything but cool ur tire, on our track cars we will install ducting that goes from the inlet to the rotor.
