Any tuners out there? I'm interested in a 'good' performance chip and a few other cost effective mods to boost performance.

d3 is working on a stage 1 package including intake, chip, and spark plugs. An exhaust is also in the works (cat-back stainless, Corsa mufflers). You can find them at d3cadillac.com

sorry, bud.

i mean that d3 will be introducing an electronic tuning module that will alter the fuel and ignition maps to improve performance.

Isn't it just easier to say chip?????

The reason i brought this up is because many people are thinking that auto MFR's still use a chip. What your referring to is a hand held programmer.

Re: CTS DI Performance Chips and mods

We have the transmission control module hacked for amazing shift quality and are working on the ECM right now. We do full REAL ECM tuning and given what we got out of the G8 (30+ RWHP) I'd say we might be able to squeak even more on this car using 91/93 octane

Now we're talking. When you have a product ready for consumers, please send me a PM. I'm very interested in getting a little more pop out of the 3.6 DI package.

Hey GTPprix. What is the status of your ECM/TCM product? I haven't seen any updates on your site, or on this thread.

I get you. Remember, though, Chrysler is still using a chip. Even a piggyback tuning module is, although not an eeprom, considered a chip. I get your point, though.

Technically, it is correct to call it a chip - it just happens to be a programmable chip in this case.

Re: CTS DI Performance Chips and mods

There have been some interesting threads going over in the CorvetteForum about GM voiding warranties if there has been a tune performed on the car. Supposedly, GM has a way to tell even if the tune is then replaced with the original factory tune. They can also tell if the ECM/PCM has been replaced.
