| hard drive replaced
My CD player recently would no longer accept/recognize CDs in my 2008
CTS4. As a result, I could no longer download CDs to my 40 gb hard drive. I already have over 2000 songs in my hard drive and devoted much time in doing so and customizing my selections. Dealer says they have to replace the whole unit and cannot transfer the songs from the hard drive. This makes no sense to me. Apparently, if you decide to by a new GM product with similar capabilities, or (as in my case) if you have to replace the unit, you have to start from scratch in loading new songs and can't dump/transfer from one hard drive into another. Is there any way around this? |
