Bra

Remove this ad
I hate a bra 'cause dirt will get between it and the car and ruin the finish, but I've got to go on an 8 hour road trip and it will probably protect the front from
all the stuff that can get thrown at you. You guys have any ideas on the best ones available as far as fit and cost ??
Thanks, Mike

Re: Bra

Never had any problems with a bra ruining a finish but I just don't like the looks of them. On my last three cars I've put a clear bra on myself.

Re: Bra

Make sure you put a good coat of protective wax or polish on the hood and front end before attaching the bra. If you are only going to use a bra every once in a while for a trip, then don't waste your money on a really good one. Buy the cheapest you can find and toss it after your trip is over! It won't harm your finish at all but will protect against road crap.
I can't stand how they look either but would use one on a long trip also.

Re: Bra

You might want to consider a plastic film protector on the front like Star Sheild (http://www.starshieldarmor.com/). Lotus even offeres this as a factory installed option.
