SRP Racing Pedals - 20% off

Remove this ad
Hello,
My name is Brian and my company is SRP. Our website is www.srpracing.com. We are a Cadillac Forums Sponsor. SRP has been specializing in racing pedals since 1995. I do hope you will find the time to look over our many options as we have pedals for all budgets and for all purposes. Our pedals are made to fit your vehicle specifically. You do have to drill holes to mount the pedals. Once installed, they are a part of your car with no chance of coming off. Our pedals are designed for performance enthusiasts, offering much improved heel toe placement and the highest levels of grip.

I’ll give you the most often asked info right here, the pricing:
The retail price is $89 for the Machined finish set.
The Satin finish adds +$10.
The Grid, Block, and Cleat finish add +$50

Instead of doing a group buy (who wants to wait?), I have set up a discount coupon for CadillacOwners.com Forum users.
Just enter: cadillacforums while checking out for 20% off.

This gets the price down to $71.20 for the Machined finish, $79.20 for the Satin, and $111.20 for the Grid, Block, and Cleat finish pedal sets.

------------------------------------

We have 5 different surface finishes to choose from.

The following pictures are to show the different surface finishes. The Satin and Grid are the most popular.

GRID +$50

SATIN +$10

MACHINED

BLOCK +$50

CLEATS +$50

After many years of people asking how the grip compares to factory, and me telling them they are great, I finally got around to doing some testing to show just how much grip they do have. Below are the results of the testing. Just to clarify, the wet test was NOT done with water, but with Armor All. We wanted to do a worst case scenario type test.

Also, just to clarify, we used to make our Grid pedals with flat tops, instead of pointy tops. After doing this testing we have switched all our Grid pedals to the "Pyramid" pointy top style.

Installed pictures (03-07 CTS, but very similar to 08+).

Re: SRP Racing Pedals - 20% off

Pedalpusher,

These look great and I am getting some but I am trying to decide between the Satin and the Grid. I have what I hope isn't a stupid question. I live in the Northeast with all the snow and salt and crap in the winter. Will the satin finish get scratched up by the crap on my shoes in the winter?

thanks,
-Mark

Hi Mark,

The Grid has the highest grip levels. However, both the Grid and the Satin finish have smooth gas pedals. This is so your foot can slide smoothly across the gas pedal while you are applying the power. The downside is the smooth finish is more susceptible to scratching.

Perhaps a better choice might be the Block style. These pedals have very deep voids which is good if you have lots of junk on your shoes. This style also has the Block machining on the gas pedal too, which is good if you are worried about putting alot of wear on the pedals.

Brian

Re: SRP Racing Pedals - 20% off

Brian,

Thanks for the info. One more question. Will the block cut on the gas pedal interfere when I want to apply more gas?

Thanks,
Mark

Ideally I would want a smooth gas pedal. However, it is not that big a deal to have the Block machined on it. Being that you don't have to push the gas pedal nearly as hard as the brake pedal, your foot doesn't "lock in" on the gas pedal as much as it does on the brake pedal, so you can still modulate the throttle smoothly.

Re: SRP Racing Pedals - 20% off

I sent some pedals off to get anodized and I got them back yesterday. I am very happy with the results. I am going to offer them in both the solid black finish, and the black/silver finish. On the pedals with the silver holes, I am going to try to make them look a little better. We have to re-countersink the holes to get rid of the anodizing, and they didn't end up quite as clean as we'd like. They look good at arms length and would look great installed, but not quite perfect up close.

For pricing, these are going to run $20 extra for the black and $25 for the two-tone. Right now I have a couple sets of the Grid style on the shelf ready to go. Once I get an idea of what people want, or if they even want this at all, I'll try to keep more on the shelf. If I don't have it, it will likely be a couple week turn around time, which I hate, so be patient. If you like these, or not, please let me know. If you'd like to order just shoot a pm or email to check availability. I haven't yet added them to the website, but will do so shortly.

Last, I can't make any guarantee to the finish lasting. This is the thing that has kept me from offering this in the past. Pedals are a wear item. When the raw aluminum wears, it doesn't look bad. When the black anodizing wears, you are going to see bright aluminum shining through. The anodizing is supposed to be harder than the aluminim, so I don't know how long this might take. I just want to be honest and upfront about things.
Brian

Re: SRP Racing Pedals - 20% off

I have added the Black options to the website. If you are in a hurry, check with me before ordering. If I don't have a set ready, it might take a couple weeks for us to machine them, send to the anodizer, and then get them back and ready to ship.

Not CTS, but fun track/pedal pictures anyway.
