Lube, Oil and Filter
So everyone, including GM, still lists 'LUBE' as part of the routine oil change service. I haven't seen a dealer doing any Lube work for years and I think its usually overlooked.
I can't find any specifics in the manual or elsewhere on what should routinely be lubed/greased/sprayed. They list the fluids to use but not where to use them.
Anyone know what should be done? Like the rubber pieces where the engine hood and the body meet; door hinges; underbody parts?
I remember the days I used to get the grease gun out for the ball joints and thankfully all those things are sealed for some time now.
