From that article:

"The wagon will have a manufacturers suggested retail price of $40,655, about $3,000 more than the CTS sedan, Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell said."

Sure would be nice to know all the prices. I'm cross-shopping this wagon with BMW and Audi wagons but it's taking forever to get real information on them!

Will do, though I am not sure how much press that will get here.

Does anyone have any updates? Pricing, packages, options, delivery times, etc? Doesn't seem to be a lot of hard information out there yet.

I don't know why, but Cadillac is really dragging their feet finalizing the information for the Sport Wagon. I did confirm that they started production on Aug. 19th. Their web site does have vehicle information, (standard and optional equipment, but still no pricing.) What in the world are they waiting for? All of the Cadillac dealers I spoke with still do not have ordering, and pricing information.

Anyone interested in the Sport Wagon should write GM at:
Your_Cadillac_Team@emails.Cadillac.com
and ask why the delay. I have called and sent email's at least once a week. We need more folks inquiring, perhaps they will get the message.

Here's a part of the lastest email I received from Cadillac:

"Although production of the 2010 CTS Sport Wagon began August 19, 2009, GM has not announced the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Our website developers are working to update the Cadillac website, unfortunately, we do not have an exact date as to when the MSRP will be announced or when you will be able to use the "Build You Own function."

Re: Now ordering the 2010 cts-wagon

Edmunds has finally added the Sport Wagon to their site complete with MSRP under cadillac/cts/2010/ as one of the many styles. I can't post complete URL's yet.

Re: Now ordering the 2010 cts-wagon

The ordering guide has been up a while now.

http

The web site won't let me post a link, but if you take this out and put togehter the p and the : you should get there.

://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/domestic/proddesc.jsp?year=2010&regionID=1&divisionID=5&typ e=0&vehicleID=8498&section=oi_def&page=7&butID=16

A bit confusing, but everything is there if you look.

Re: Now ordering the 2010 cts-wagon

Cadillac has finally added the CTS Sport Wagon to their 2010 "Build Your Own" web page. Maybe now the wagons will soon start showing up in inventory searches.

Thanks. 'bout time Cadillac got the info out there. The Wagon has been in production for approx. 1 month. Inventory should start showing up soon. I know it's gonna be tough finding one the way I like. I'll most likely just order one.

Re: Now ordering the 2010 cts-wagon

I called my dealer last week and they said they will have some in next week. The guy I spoke to is smart, he got my name and number, so I should get a call next week!

That's up here in Montreal.

Re: Now ordering the 2010 cts-wagon

1)production started august 19th, as yet there are no wagons showing up on
either autotrader or ebay.
2)I am assuming they have held them back and are doing QC, just like they did with the new camaro.
3)I really like this vehicle but wonder how much i would be giving up in terms of rear legroom and cargo space?
4) any news on introductory lease specials or financing?
5) I have configured a 3.6L w/Y43 Summer 19" wheels for around $47K.

That is the highest MSRP vehicle i have ever considered. My '07 SRX was $40K and I paid $35.5K.

Don't know if the the wagon is the best vehicle for me. Maybe I should try to find a base '09 SRX without Ultraview for around $32-34K or so?

It would probably be at least $10K less out the door than the Sport wagon.

How do you guys feel the Sport Wagon compares to the '09 SRX?

Re: Now ordering the 2010 cts-wagon

Hmmm, imagine you go through all the trouble to build a wagon variant of your award-winning flagship sedan and right out the door you've got to discount it heavily because the market is so soft and we, as consumers are so demanding....what a drag!

I guess the major difference between the wagon and the SRX would be the handling.....

Re: Now ordering the 2010 cts-wagon

Autotrader shows Rickenbaugh Cadillac in Denver as having one in stock but the window sticker is invalid so the car may have already been sold. It's about time they started showing up in dealer inventories; I'm considering this wagon but I need to see one in person before ordering.

Re: Now ordering the 2010 cts-wagon

should have said the 3.6L RWD is $48K with the Y43 19" Summer Tires.

Another competitor is the Audi A6 Avant, which is a little bit more expensive but roomier in some dimensions.

But if you are looking at a A6 Avant one should look at the Q5 CUV-----which brings us full circle away from a wagon.
