I wonder if it is possible to buy Recaro seats and use the CTS tracks and electronics? Cool seats would be one issue. What other issues?

Recaro told me they had exclusive rights with Cadillac and could not sell the seats directly. Is that $3000 a seat, or for the set???

Re: Adding Recaro Seats to Standard CTS AWD DI

I think if enough of us complain it could compel GM to set up some type of Dealer Aftermarket program for CTS owners or hopefully get the message and include the Recaro's as standard equipment.

The dealer said "$2990 EACH!" They were surprised too.

Wow, it is only a $3400 option when you buy the car! Would it look too strange to have just 1 recaro seat???

I don't think it will look too strange if the leather is the same color. The shape of the seats is not different enough to be bothersome. I just want to replace the driver's in mine.

Those thigh supports on the Recaros make a helluva difference along with the adjustable bolsters. I can't tell if the non-Caddy Recaro 'Style Topline' has side and bottom adjustments on the bolsters or not - the Caddy versions do.

I found this lit sheet yesterday: http://www.eurosporttuning.ca/images/recaro_style.pdf
