Otherwise, go get yourself a CTS! | I asked about the GM Certified warranty, they told me it would be an additional 2800..thats something I dont have right now But it's still under factory warranty, and i definitely plan on getting the GM warranty before this expires |

You my find out you can get a new one for close to the same payment since new car interest rates are generally better than used. Plus, GM has new money to loan and is eager to sell.
If you want to travel to Dallas, I can recommend Massey Cadillac. They gave us a HUGE, HUGE, discount back in July. P.M. me and I will get the salesman info to you.
Good luck with whatever you do but, as mentioned...do your homework. | Thanks, that would be an excellent option, but i'm kind of limited to 30-32K price range..the Caddy dealership cant offer a new cts with those options for 30k. Lowest price ive seen is 42 Besides, I only make 40k a year - no where near you rich guys with your sweet house and brand new custom cts's. you people are invincible gods |

rg | excelletn advice, this is what i was trying to recall from a previous post, but could not find it..your not talking about these are you? |

Don't know about RPO codes? Check out the GM/Cadillac CTS Online Order / Reference Guide. To get started, just click on the model year 2008 or 2009, then click "Ordering Info" > "Equipment Groups" > "With Additional Options." | Ok i see, I'll get that info from him tomorrow. You know, i understood these upgrades came in packages, so if it had the nav, sunroof, upgraded headlights and ambient lighting and 18" wheels..it had just about everything. I'd be lost without you guys |

Also, if it is a 2008 model year, you may wish to check whether it has Bluetooth. Those built starting sometime in the Spring of 2008 came with it; those built before did not (even if the manual discussed Bluetooth). I believe that if you turn the car on, turn on the audio system, press the handsfree button on the steering wheel and say Handsfree, then it will respond Handsfree Ready, and then say Bluetooth, and it should respond if it has Bluetooth.
Good luck. We love our CTS 3.6 DI AWD. | I was aware of the badge, my only question is if the previous owner removed this because of modding. The fact that he darkened the tail lights shows he liked to modify the car a bit. It may not have it but i'll try to find out tomorrow. I included a link of all the pics too |

rg | yeah...i just checked that out..sticker shows 01/08..thanks for showing me that..that would have been awesome to have..oh well |

don't bother looking for a badge on the back since that can be added or removed at will.

rg | Yeah, the fact that he modified the tail lights made this a possibility. Although the dealer is a Cadillac dealer, If it was DI, i'm pretty sure they'd include this in the details. They even state it has bluetooth which i dont how that's possible. I'm going to take a look at it in a couple of days |

I almost bought a slightly used CTS before buying new and the dealer told me their cost was around $1,500 to have this done. For three reasons:
- Warranty is very comprehensive (bumper to bumper to 100K, actually better than buying new)
- Background check is required (this should ensure you don't get a car with some unusual history)
- Thorough inspection sent to GM with minimum expectations on tread wear etc... http://www.cadillac.com/cadillacjsp/cpo/advantage.jsp | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
