Looking for a cheap easy interior mod. This may be what you are looking for.
This is something that I had done on my Avalanche and when I traded that for my CTS I was happy to see that they were available for the Caddy as well.
They are vinyl stickers that go over your airbag warning stickers on your visors. The name of the company is Streamline Design, I believe they are a small graphic arts company. The nice thing about dealing with a small company is that they can customize things . For example when I contacted them they did not have an image of the decal for the CTS on their website so they emailed it to me. They also told me they could do it with the crest, without the crest, crest only, however I wanted, the only limitation was that the ink color had to be all one color. They also did not list the color that I wanted so I asked if they could do the Cadillac script only on the color that I wanted and they said sure. I ordered it on Monday morning and it shipped on Monday afternoon and I had them on Wednesday.
Here are the details: Streamline Designs website
Total cost - $16.50
Time to install - about 5 minutes
Images are attached.
One last note: I have nothing to do with this company, I have used their products and I think they have great customer service.

I only bring this up because GM has gone after folks selling stuff on the Corvette forum and forced them to quit using trademarked logos.
Now, on to better things - are those a vinyl decal? How well do they stick. I did put something similar on my last Corvette. They looked okay, but there was no doubt that it was a $20 vinyl decal.
Thanks for posting. |

Thanks for posting. | They are vinyl. I had them on my Avalanche for about 4 years and they never peeled or faded or anything, I really liked them. I think it looks better than the airbag warning label.

The sample that I posted was their standard logo, crest and script. They told me that they could do any variation of that, script only, crest only, crest and script.

Edit: This might be the perfect place to put the name of your car (if you have one). "The Black Dahlia" comes to mind as an example, especially since it is hidden from view most of the time.

Worked great for me. Can't see where they used to reside. |

Choose a corner of the decal and start picking at the edge to release a big enough piece to start pulling/removing the decal ~ continue applying the heat using the hair dryer as you pull/remove the decal. Typically, you will not have any glue residue.... but if you do, saturate a cloth with some glue-be-gone (or equivalent) and go over the visor. It may take a little work, but the residue will come off and the glue-be-gone will not hurt/stain the visor. Leave the windows open to let the car air-out... vapors are kind of strong. In this case, while options are good ~ IMO, no decal is better than a cover-up. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
