I was changing my preset favorites last night and didn't notice anything new. This morning I was finishing updating my favorites and I noticed the new Sirius stations. |

Sirius canned The Boneyard I've heard more talking by "DJs" on that new channel just today than in the entire previous year under XM.

Like I said the "Suckiass" takeover is just that. Good thing my subscription expires in March. |

The one downside with Faction is the talking by the "DJ"s. As long as they keep 202 The ViRUS and the NHL/MLB broadcasts, I'll be happy. |

Paid the $77 for the 1st year for my CTS in September. A week ago I paid $142 for XM in my '08 Honda Ridgeline for the next year and am on a month by month for the XM I just got my bf for his boat. Sad. My FAVORITE station was XM83 CHROME. Gone. If I wanted to hear DJ's talking, I could listen to Miami FM for FREE. Did anyone notice there are commercials, too???? I was on a Classic Rock channel (161?) and I heard COMMERCIALS!!!???!!! Again, I could listen to Miami FM for FREE and get commercials & DJ's. |

Had XM in the Hummer.....Ripped out the module and replaced it with Sirius at my expense.
Caddy came with XM, same crap stations, same crap music selections. My "Free Trial" expires on Nov. 20th and I planned to walk away once again.
Then, yesterday, a MIRACLE.....The moved FIRST WAVE, THE SPECTRUM, CLASSIC VINYL, CLASSIC REWIND, SIRIUSLY SINATRA, and RADIO MARGARITAVILLE over....as well as a lot of others. BLISS !!!
First thing when I got home from work was call XM, use the Z-WINBACK code and signed up for a year at $77.00 XM just saved their @$$ by dumping the crap they had and moving to the FAR SUPERIOR sirius stations.
Look, I had both and IMHO, XM was horrid with the exception of Baseball and about 2 channels. Sirius is not perfect, but obviously they put the two together and figured out that most of XM had to go. You may cancel your subscription, but they just ensured I will keep mine as long as I have the vehicle. |

I had to run errands in Miami today, so spent over 3 hours in the car. Thought I mistakenly had FM on instead of the XM.... I was hearing commercials for MALE ENHANCEMENT!!! In one hour, the classic rock XM channel played exactly 8 songs..... SAD ... SAD ... SAD |

That being said, I always felt like XM had the superior gear and Sirius had the better programming. I am happy the combined...I think my wife would leave me for the Coffee House station! (51 on the new lineup). |

And, oh yeah, Sirius tries to grab $4 more per month if you want more stations, they try to nickel and dime you. No thx, I only listen to 3 or 4 faithfully anyway.
I can't get over it--no chrome, you're right, disco dies again, f#&* |

He's the future of radio. I only wish my shitty Canadian XM subscription allowed me to get these Sirius channels. It would prevent me from adding an aftermarket sirius radio to my dash. |
