BLACK ICE?? -- Anyone have BLACK ICE CTS Pics*

I'm planning on buying a CTS Coupe with the Black Ice exterioir color. I wanted to know how it looks on a CTS Sedan.

It seems like a intriguing color!!!!

It's funny you ask. Go look at a malibu as they have the same color. I've never seen a CTS with this color though.

My dealer had one. Sutliff Cadillac in Mechanicsburg, PA. It looked nice. This description probably doesn't do it justice, but I remember it as a black metallic.

Come on, black is black. You can't make it any blacker. Except for 'Black Cherry' , which is purple.

I just saw one at the dealer today. I saw it in cloudy conditions, so it didn't "pop" nearly as well as Raven. I imagine in sunlight, the flake might look kind of cool, but I like my Raven better, more 'classic' and easier to fix if you have damage.

I couldn't agree more, black is black. Funny how people like to describe a colour, like "midnight" black, or black "raven" or better still "onyx."

Actually black ice and raven look different. Raven is a high-gloss black; ice has a LOT of metal flake.

Well Never mind. Its not what I thought it would be. I mean I was expecting a black paint job that look like a DARK TINTED
window. That would the perfectly glossed black paint job.

I am soooo happy. I wasgoing to wait for Blue Diamond in 09, and both Blue Diamond and Black Ice look like poop. I am going out on a limb and saying that Thunder Gray is the most interesting color on all Cadillacs.

I've got black raven and the only other color I would consider if I were to do it again is the Thunder Gray

I have a black 02 Honda Accord Coupe for one of my boys, and it actually has a deep blue tint and metallic flake. It is most noticable when you shine a light on it at night, otherwise it just looks black.

My '04 was Grey. I thought it was the best color. No one else on the forum thought so. I guess I was years ahead
