First of all, the CTS has very nice leather, so I'm naturally concerned. Basically, I'm sure we've all seen those interior/exterior protection packages most dealers offer, typically around $500 on up. And I know many are quick to dismiss these products nothing more than a dealer scam, but what about the interior protection/warranty (which is the part I'm more interested in)?
I suppose the services could also vary depending on the dealer and what kind of stuff they use. But looking at the details of the service my dealer is offering, it seems that they would warranty any type of stains, tears, spills, etc, that might occur to the interior after their "protection" is applied. If anything like that happens, they try to remove/clean it, and if that doesn't work, they'll suposedly fix/replace the item.
So has anybody actually tried one of these products/services? And more importantly, see how the really warranty or process works? Thanks! |

You are better off to take your new ride to a professional detailer and have it done right. You can get a much better job for a fraction of the price! |

Just like when I purchase my new vaio laptop.. they suddenly tried to sell me this leather case here $160, then suddenly talked about the 3 years warranty $299.99.. and suddenly talked about the memory upgrade $250.. they ended up giving me all of them free. I guess they wish they didnt make any offer. Or the free 3 years services for the car at the dealership where you purchased or else you just gona go to the next dealership 15-20 minutes away and buy from them, especially everywhere has the employee discount now, there is no need to stick with one person who try to sell you bs

Hmm... well, you know, I really don't care if they just give it a hard long look and call it a day. It's whether or not they actually warranty the type of damage they say they will. I haven't seen any aftermarket solution that does that... |
