Reason for visiting forum?

After reading six pages of "CTS Owners Any Regrets" I was wondering why do we frequent this forum?
Starting with myself. I just plain like to be part of this community and it's as good place as any to stop and kill a little time. For a bonus I pick up some good to know items. No need to get bent out of shape if someone has a different point of view. Enjoy the ride!

I don't have any friends.

Really, I am someone who likes to know everything there is to know about a particular topic. This is the best venue to keep me as close to that as possible. (We would all be better off if GM listened to Southern and released the damned service manual)

Also, I really enjoy the banter and the incredibly diverse range of opinions by a bunch of people who all made the exact same decision at one point in time.

And finally, I am married with two young children, A GUY NEEDS A BREAK EVERY SO OFTEN! If it wasn't for chatting on the forum, I would most likely drink more.

Because this forum is alive and active practically at all times and full of people who are willing to share their generosity, opinions, knowledge, expertise, PICTURES, and, oh, did I say 'opinions' already?

I'm here for the same reason I have a group of about 10 very good friends who are all huge car nuts. We frequently meet for lunch or coffee and spend the entire time talking cars. As a group of friends, we learn a lot from each other, we do a lot of good natured kidding, and we even disagree with each other sometimes (sometimes passionately!). But at the end of the meeting, when we part company we are all still friends.
