But here are the issues in the first 2 months of ownership:
1. Two separate occasions where the front right and left speakers quit working. This was not an adjustment issue. After shutting the car off for a while and turning it back on, the speakers were back to normal (all working fine).
2. One occasion where the Key FOB was not recognized. Upon shutting off the engine, the Info Center said something like “wireless key not detected, engine restart allowed”. Again, it was a fluke. By the time I went inside, called the dealer, and went back to the car, the Key FOB worked just fine. I’m using the other FOB now just to be safe.
3. A small 2 inch part of the leather trim on the driver side door popped out from under the wood strip. I can tuck it back in but there is nothing keeping it pinned in there so it just pops back out.
4. The plastic bolt that holds the trunk net popped out and is now stripped.
5. Recently the brakes squeak a bit when slowly coming to a stop.
I have an appointment next week with the dealer to address these, but I’m disappointed that I’m having even minor issues… |

You can't hear onstar or use the phone or even the NAV system at that time. I had mine into the dealer and they couldn't replicate it. I did have the same experience after shutting it off, they started working again. I thought I was losing my mind so that you for sharing my pain. That is the only minor issue I have had with my loaded CTS4. Only 1200 miles though, it's still just a baby. |

This has happened a few times with my corvette. I doubt there's anything wrong with your fob. It's possible you have your cell phone close to the fob, you have another key fob from another car next to it or potentially something else. Anything that can interfere can cause this. Trust me, it rarely happens. In the 3 years I've had my vette, it's happened twice. I'm still using the same fob too. It won't leave you stranded, but it can be somewhat embarrasing. |

Those with squeaky brakes... how hard are you on your brakes? Normally I see that on various vehicles where the driver is pretty easy on them on a daily basis. A couple hard stops is normally all it takes to clean off the pads/rotors and reseat the pads. Same process you go through with new brakes. |
