My lease just came up on my 05 CTS. Lord knows that I wanted to lease a 2008, but high gas prices and my desire to buy a house drove me to look elsewhere. What did I end up with? A 2008 Altima 4-cyl! Can you believe it? I can't either.
I will still lurk on the boards until such time when I can lease again (2011). By then, perhaps GM will have a hybrid CTS Coupe on the market, gas prices will have stabilized, and I'll have a nicer paycheck!
Take care,
Chuck |

And the Nissan 4 is peppy. They build good products. The major difficulty I have with Nissan is, they have probably the poorest. most undisciplined dealer service network in the business.
I still have a 2003 Murano.
You did good. |

You did good. | I thought it was just me; Infiniti (Nissan) has the WORST service in the world! After four years of lousy service at Infiniti, I’m extremely excited about the direction Cadillac is headed with their vehicles and very happy about buying American again. |

'You have to get your priorities in line, you can sleep in your car, but you can't drive your house.'
enjoy the home!

After all, I'm a Cadillac loyalist. My buddy put it into perspective today: "Chuck, this is the first time in ten years you won't have a Caddy." And you know what, I'm 100% fine with it and grateful for my decision. Hopefully, I won't have to make any trips to the dealer for service...you guys have me worried! |

Good luck with the Altima. It is a nice car. I was considering 3.5 one 5 years ago. Nissan - great vehicles! Great engineering! Good execution. Absolutely appalling service! Sales personnel without knowledge of the cars. Service? Forget it. Rude service advisors supported by inept “Nissan certified technicians”, backed up by Nissan “Customer Service” that should be renamed to “Dealers Protection Agency”. Believe me I know. I used to own a Murano and still own an Infiniti. Back to Altima - a friend of mine drove me around Houston a few weeks ago - I was very impressed with the car.
So good luck and have fun! |

I got a great deal during the Employee Discount heyday back in '05...not the case now. Every alternative I've considered (Lincoln MDX, Mercedes C, BMW 3...) costs just as much or more. I may just go buy a new Toyota Corolla. My Mom's on her fourth Corolla and they're great economy cars with a nice ride. Maybe we can race our four-bangers. |

Take a look at the Altima...although I've only driven it about 100 miles, I am very impressed especially with the comfortable ride, logical placement of controls, storage, & fuel economy. I'm 100% satisfied with my decision given the "times". | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
