They are included with the 18" (45.7 cm) Summer Tire Performance Package and 6-speed automatic transmission. I remember that I have seen a picture of shifters behind the steering wheel of a 09 CTS on this forum.

I will say they are fun though, nobody can see them but you know they are there. When you take people out you can just place into sport mode and then pop a down shift for some fun cornering . They never see it coming. |

GM will introduce their new Cadillac CTS coupe In November at the Los Angeles Auto show. This ends much speculation about whether or not it will be built. Sources say that the sporty luxury coupe will go into production in May of next year. Coming soon however is the wagon version of the CTS. |

In fact the only options seem to be colour (color for the American!) and sunroof/moonroof. Otherwise the car is loaded with everything. But no AWD! |

So my question: if I'm reading the Order Guide correctly, it appears that for 2009 you can get a DI CTS with a manual IF you pick up the Y43 Summer Tire Package...am I reading that right?

Similar to UK in Germany you can chose 2.8 V6 Elegance or sport luxury or 3.6 DI Sport Luxury with manual or automatic transmission, but also the AWD.
Then, of course, the colors of the ex- and interior (only cashmere/cocoa, silver or ebony/ebony). Convenience Package (ventilated seats, memory package, EZ Key, keyless entry and remote start), UltraView Sunroof, Woodpackage, 10 speaker Bose and DVD/NAV are options.
That's it... but it is a lot easier this way. I want everything anyway (except for the wood and I regret there is no ebony/cashmere). |

Maybe the Mem seats will work as advertised?
Seems to me that there is absolutely nothing there to tempt me. | so why would you need a camera! You can't look out the back window, you can't turn around , Stop your and drive.
And Paddle Shifters suck in any form. You want to shift buy a stick shift |

I'm assuming mine was built during the "in between" model year period so I got the best of both worlds.
On my window sticker and breakout (I always make sure the sales guy gives me this), I do have the J55 performance brakes with the AWD platform. All the 2009 bells and whistles like Bluetooth, but also still have the Advanced Menu in the DIC as well.
The tilt down parking mirrors are configurable on both Driver and Passenger sides. Although, I'm a little miffed at how they can be configured. On the 2006 STS, you simply pressed the button corresponding to the side you want to tilt upon shifting into reverse. It seems on the CTS, it's all or nothing. Meaning it will always tilt down in reverse on which side (or both) you have set in the DIC. I have mine set to the passenger side only as a compromise but it still annoys me...
Now I'm curious what other minor things are on 08s and not on 09s to compare... | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
