It just moves the headrest Forward, if you are hit from the rear..... cuts way down on whiplash injuries......GM is late to the party on this one,but I am glad they did it and my 2008 has it.......... |

I remember seeing in sales literature that the HVAC controls were on the steering wheel for the '08. Not sure if they were planning it, then cancelled it and never fixed the book, etc.. |

As an old time Climate Control User, I am more apt to set and forget. Sometimes for years.......
The ONLY thing I "adjust" is defrost.
Quite literally, I have set the CTS on Auto and 76 degrees and have yet to touch it since I bought it 3 months ago......why do I need the "added convenience" of steering wheel controls?
Confused in SW FL............. |

On pricing information, even though the ordering information is now public at the eogld web site, I was informed by a local dealership that pricing won't be available until it's no longer possible to order an '08. They said to actually not expect to see pricing until June or July. As a point of reference, the '08's pricing was publicized in July '07--so that's right on track if the past is any indicator.
Get this--even though pricing is not yet public, I was told I will be offered an '09 at $500 over invoice! They will contact me when there's some real numbers to work with. How cool is that? | RQFin MD, what dealer are you using. I used Len Stoler in Westminster and got a great price and terrific serivce in helpin gme get the car and all the incentives that were offered at the time. Ask for Scott Doyle, he was my salesperson or mesage me and I will get you the contact info. |

Confused in SW FL............. | I change mine ALL the time. I like to drive with the windows down when it's nice, so I turn it off. Can't let the A.C. leak out! I like to turn it off when it's cold (45-50) and I'm on a long drive (I guess I like it cool in the cabin) I turn it down to between 65 and 70 when it's cool out, and up to around 75 when it's hot out. I would use steering wheel climate control all the time. I'd probably only use the temp though, I do leave it on auto because I've never had a car with auto fan that actually worked before. |

(I like to know exactly what I'm getting myself into before I go putting my name on something. Yeah, I know they will probably still sell the thing if I bail out, but I just don't operate like that. If I order, I'm saying I'm ready to buy that day--unless some life changing thing happens before the car gets here. I'm sure they'll understand if that ever happens.)
