There was also a dimple on the handle that you lightly touched to lock.
Coming from that I don't especially mind the way the CTS autolock performs. |

It didn't bother me at all until I drove a Prius for a week. On that car any delay between touching the door handle and unlocking is totally imperceptible. If they can do it on a $20K Prius, why not on a $50K Cadillac? |

See page 3-74 and 3-75 of the manual. The option can be set to have no door unlock automatically (must use the fob button to unlock), have the "entry" door only unlock (the driver's door only), or "all" doors (all will unlock after you open the driver's or front passenger door). |
