I have a 2005 300 and am counting down the months (9 ) until I can get into a CTS. I never thought I'd find another car that turned me into a fanatic liek the 300 did. If you've made the switch already please compare and contrast. |

I find CTS somewhat smallish on inside. Driver area is OK even though not as spacious, but I would not want to seat on rear seats. I am 6'3". No space for legs and head at all. Then, there is no Bluetooth which I am already used to.
I test drove CTS once. Design is great. Interior is nice, but I get a feeling that there somewhat more noise inside CTS than in 300C. While 3.6 DI is very competent engine, I feel 300C's V8 pulls slightly better even though power difference is only 36 HP. I did not do any timing though.
I am on sidelines until GM installs Bluetooth at factory. Meanwhile, I am thinking if rear seat space matters to me at this moment and if I should consider 2009 CTS-V which likely will cost more than I am willing to pay for the car. |

Then we had one for a week in Hawaii as a rental, and that pretty much cured me from wanting to jump into one and I never really looked back. It was a very nice sedan, no question, and of course it was probably a base model, so not fair to really compare with my fully loaded CTS, but the CTS is in a class by itself. |

The 300C looks like a box. |

300 compares more to DTS, also bmw 7 series. CTS compares directly to bmw 5 series in size.

Don't you realize when you knock another persons car, you knock them?
Don't be like the BMW people. |

He wants those people to contrast and compare. Other comments should go find another thread. |

I am curious to see just how many 300c owners there are in these forums who see this and respond.

rg | Meh. I don't think I "introduced" myself in my first post, either. At least, I don't recall and fail to see importance of doing that if you have a fair and intelligent question, which the OP's first post certainly was. Let cooler heads prevail, gents. |

that was a fair intro. this forum is a bit more forgiving of the omission than most. I agree the OP was a fair question but I didn't know that nobody else is allowed to respond.
I'll be hanging out with some friends this weekend incl. one couple with a 300c hemi. how bout we swap cars and I'll return with a full report?
I know so far that the hemi is quicker than the CTS and gets worse mileage (15/22 vs 17/26).
compare and contrast . . .
