Re: GM all-weather mats

I'm in the same boat of looking for good all-weather mats for the car.

Someone recommended mats.com, but be prepared to spend at least $100 (if not more)
for a complete set (front and back).

What's worse, if you have a AWD vehicle then it may be tougher to find mats
as many of the companies don't have them available for AWD.

When I pick up my CTS in two weeks I am going to stop in the service
department and see what they have.

It's your preference; the GM mats will lay over the carpet mats without a problem. I took my cashmere carpeted mats out when I put the all weather mats in, though.

Re: GM all-weather mats

I think those GM all-weather mats are one of the best purchases I have made. They REALLY save the carpet.

Re: GM all-weather mats

I recently received my GM all-weather mats. I have no complaints. After first I placed them over the OEM mats, but since the all-weathers are pretty thick I had no foot clearance between pedals. Thus, I removed the OEMs about a week later. Like WhtDmnd mentioned, make sure you order for RWD or AWD.

Re: GM all-weather mats

I'm very tempted to order the GM all-weather mats.. i actually recieved a coupon from my dealer that might inspire me to go there and order them
someone on the forum (i wanna say GMENGR) got the mats and painted the CTS
sounds like a good idea to me

Re: GM all-weather mats

I have the GM all weather mats, and was sure to specify for AWD. The dealer had them in stock. I put them over the top of my cashmere mats. For this winter they have been great. I had cashmere mats in my Escalade and I trashed them without any winter mats. Very wet here in the winter.

Weather tech does not have mats for the AWD CTS4.

Re: GM all-weather mats

WeatherTech has mats for the AWD in their FloorLiner line of mats. I order them last week and should have them this coming week. I'll report back and post some pictures. I was looking for a winter mat and chose the full coverage of the FloorLiner. Yes they aren't cheap but neither was the car! Even with rubber mats in the past I always seem to be putting my foot somewhere that wasn't covered by the mat. This should happen much less with the FloorLiner. I will take them out for Spring/Summer driving and put the factory mats back in.

Re: GM all-weather mats

Here is a direct link to the floor mats that Fleetwood talks about above.

http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...=790&Year=2008

I think I may very well go this route as well for my AWD CTS.

Just not sure these things look as attractive as the smaller
area mats. I do agree that no matter how big those smaller
mats are, the feet and dirt always seems to go outside of them.

Re: GM all-weather mats

I know what you're saying Ronbo but "attractive" and all weather mats never go together! LOL!!! I'm hoping that the tan color will be a pretty close match with the cashmere so it should look better in my case compared to most all weather mats that come in only gray or black. Plus I have limited options with the AWD. I'll post a pic when they come in.
