That's because it's not a V. It's the CTS Coupe Concept vehicle. Not even a final production model. That's not even the 09 V front facia/grill. |

That's been sitting under a cover in a corner at GM's design studio for a long time. Take note of the headlights, steering wheel and shift knob- they're straight out of the pre-production design exercises (like shown on 60 minutes).
If this had been recently built for the show, it would have final production interior and fender vent placement. Amazing that they were able to sit on that for as long as they have.

-Chris | You're right. If I'm not mistaken CTS = Catera Touring Sedan?
Since you brought that up, it looks odd seeing the CTS badging on the new coupe. My guess is GM has done away with the Touring Sedan/Coupe concept in the name and just sticking with the lettering.
This reminds me, when Mercedes-Benz came out with the CLS, it was marketed and still is as a 4-door Coupe. So I suppose anything is possible...
