Automatic Transmission Shift Lever Illumination

Can anyone provide info as to whether there is illumination for the indicators on the shift lever console?

There is no illumination. It took a little getting used to, but you have to look at the indicator on the dash. It's not that bad once you get into the habit.

There is no illumination for the indicators on the shift lever console. The only indicator is in the dash display.

It's illuminated from afar by the ambient lighting. Or if you hold up a flashlight and point it at the shifter.

The dash display tells you more than lighted indicators on the console would. In particular, in "manual" or "sport" mode, it will display the gear you are in.

Good for Cadillac! That's the way it should be. No more looking down like a mouth breather. Keep your eyes up and looking around you. Too many knockin over of the pedos.
