CASHMERE custom floor mats - again!

As previously posted, I wanted to order embroidered (w/ silver new Cadillac crest) Lloyd Ultimats custom 4-pc floor mats to closely match the color of my CTS factory-Cashmere mats. So I requested from USSPEED samples of two different shades of "cashmere" mats, colors #634 (website: http://www.usspeedonline.com/page/U/PROD/LM-CTS) and #654 (website: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Custo...9444QQtcZphoto).

After some delay, I received samples of #634 and other colors not requested, but no #654. So I requested and received additional samples from other Lloyd vendors. Now I've eliminated all colors except the two "cashmere" shades, #634 and #654, pictured below with my CTS factory-Cashmere mat for comparison:



NOTE: 2" x 1" sample swatches were photographed outdoors in natural full sunlight w/ Panasonic Lumix FX50 digital camera.

After comparing the two samples to my CTS' carpeting, doors, seats, console, and under different light and viewing angles, I ordered #654 for myself. Others might prefer #634. If in doubt, I suggest that you request your own color samples before ordering.

PS - I talked directly to a representative at the Lloyd's factory this morning, and was told that Cashmere #654 is the best match for the CTS and #634 is best for the Escalade.

When ordering the Custom Floor Mats, remember that it is necessary to specify whether your car has the All Wheel Drive, (i.e. a "CTS-4") or the Rear Wheel Drive (i.e. a "CTS")--because the template for the mats is unique for each of these. Otherwise, your attractive looking mats may not lay flat on the floor!

Because the cashmere gets so dirty I 've been thinking about replacing the mats with a darker color to match the cocoa dash board. Does anyone have any recommendations

US Speed offers the Lloyd mats in brown and dark brown which may work for you. These are color numbers 700 and 710. Ckick on the additional colors option in step two of the ordering process to view all the colors.

I sure wish I had taken the time to get swatches w/ previous Lloyd orders. I have had some BAD matches (my fault for not getting swatches). 654 will look good I am sure.
