Articulating Headlights

[NOT ON MY WATCH]

My wife is a technophobe. It took years before she would allow me to get her a cell phone and an email account. She still refuses to use the microwave and she is probably a dropped cell phone call and 3 spam emails away from moving to Montana, buying a shack and writing a manifesto.

That being said, she thinks the articulating headlights on the CTS are awesome. Awesome in a "scary robot coming to kill you" kind of way, but awesome nonetheless.

When I start the car the headlights go up and down and then they get leveled.

So im sure we all knew that this question was going to be askked... Where can i get these headlights with the leveling? i havent come across a set yet that has it...

This is the exact reason I have to bring in tissue paper whenever I start my car! Cadillac's new ad agency comercials were right! It DOES turn me on.. Now if only had I sprung for the "auto-suck" option! Dammit!

In all seriousness, this is one of the most uniquely attractive & technologically advanced cars to be offered to our market.
I love that feature and the HID headlights and light pipes in general!!

You said it!! That-- plus the ambient lighting-- plus the pop up nav screen--plus the heated and cooled seats--etc...etc....etc...

What I find most frustrating is that I cannot appreciate how awesome these headlights look unless I catch a reflection or come across rare sightings of fellow CTS owners. Oncomers and rearviewers get all the fun. These lights are definitely among the most distinct on the road today and they attract a lot of attention. So to remedy my situation, I have parked in spots near buildings with big glass windows (like the bank ATM) just to admire the coolness. I will even pause a bit in the driveway to admire the reflection in the garage door windows. Yeah...I know.
