Within the first three weeks of ownership, the entire navigation, radio, OnStar, heat/air all went out. No power at all. The dealer attempted to fix it twice, but it only worked for a matter of hours. They are now ordering a new system, but I'm still a but peeved that it has been an issue at all. I've been told that this is a "unique" issues, but just curious if anyone has heard of or experienced a similar problem. |

I know some of them got built with the incorrect female terminal for the control board connections. There is a bulletin on that for your dealer to check. This could cause intermittent issues like you are seeing.
The second issue is related to the connection coming into the faceplate. I have heard there could be wire rubbing issues and possible wire damage behind the faceplate. The dealer should be able to check these things out by looking at service bulletins.

The issue seems to be simply a faulty console unit. In short, they are replacing the entire navigation, radio, air/heat electrical unit. Unfortunately, it will take them a day to get the part and a day to install. I've already been with my car for five days, and in all it will be a full week before I get it back repaired. Hopefully this is a one time thing. But, I am glad to know that others aren't experiencing the same issue. |

They are all serviced separately. My guess is they are replacing the control panel.
I certainly hope that fixes your problem. |
