Big mistake. When my order arrived yesterday, I was surprised to find that the mats did not fit my car. After all, I knew I ordered the right ones for the '08. I even double checked my order before calling. After doing some online research, I found out that GM sells different mats for the AWD and RWD versions of the car. I have RWD and received mats for AWD. The problem is that this site makes no distinction between the two. In fact, you cannot find any mention of AWD on the product description. When I called their 800 number today, the woman (Missy) I spoke with informed me that they would except the return, but I would have to pay return shipping and a 10% restocking fee. What? You are going to make me incur additional costs because your site doesn't have sufficient information about the product--I am not psychic. So, I am disputing the charge with AMEX and will never order from this company again. As a business owner, I continue to be shocked at the number of companies willing to lose a customer over a minor customer service issue. |

item description "with rpo code MX7" http://gmaccessoriesstore.com/front-...th=388_549_550
item description "with rpo code MXO" http://gmaccessoriesstore.com/front-...th=388_549_550
I can understand how each party might feel that the other is at fault. Hope that you find a mutually satisfactory resolution. |

I guess they could have stated RWD or AWD but then someone else would complain about that designation. |

I agree with black08cts, they should have apologized for the inconvenience and picked up all charges.
I would think they would have expedited his order too. I would be upset and not in the mood to put up an EBAY post. It is additional work. |

So, borrowing from the OP title, I'd say "buyer beware when ordering" from ANY online discounter. If you don't fully understand the item description, then ask questions and get answers BEFORE placing your order ... that's today's reality. |
