When in fact there was a drivetrain issue, hence the TSB that was released a couple months ago.
Since you don't own one and you have no idea what people, like me, are going through to get our issues, like this one, resolved, keep your lame comments like this one to yourself. You're only showing your ignorance and it's counterproductive to sites like this. |

I see a few post saying cars that are built after October are resolved of this "vibrating" issue. If that is true .... why not find out HOW they fixed it and what was causing it? |

As I understand it, my car's issue is the rear diff. The tires were road force tested long ago and that wasn't the issue, and the driveshaft wasn't the issue either. |

Good to know you have no vibration. I have the same features as you do and mine was built today. Maybe they have resolved the issue. BTW do you have 18" wheels?
I also like the fact that you received it in about a week.

This doesn't defeat the purpose of the review as long as all that results is representative of any perfect car coming out of the plant (i.e. no horsepower boost, change in the alignment specs, etc.).
I remember when the 1992 Seville was introduced, that's the last time people were talking about Cadillac being back in the big leagues. The car put on C&D's cover had poorly aligned bodyside moldings, and many people pointed this out.
Ed's response: someone at GM in charge of the press vehicles probably just lost their job.

I worked something out with the dealership because they knew they were in the wrong. Listen, I wish the car didn't have a vibration issue. It's not the tires. There is definitely an issue either with the drivetrain or even rear differential or something else. I had the wheels and tires checked out thoroughly. I'm just really surprised that GM doesn't check their cars out properly before they are sent out to dealerships. For the guy who claims that he doesn't care that the car vibrates and loves it. Are you crazy? Why would I want to spend that kind of money on a car that has a vibration issue? I drive the freeways mostly and the vibration was driving me nuts. There is no excuse for this. I feel bad for IMF. |

The only downside to the whole ordeal, is that in no way was anything offered to me for my inconvenience for this problematic car and how long it's taking to get it rectified. |
