Not sure if the player can play DVD's or not or wheter you can add one on?
Some cars like the new C-Class Benz allow you to play a DVD on the NAV screen (while in park) but there are aftermarket devices which override the feature and allow it to play at anytime.
I'm not too hung up on this feature, but need to know. I want the CTS, my wife wants the C-Class. We're going tit-for-tat on features.
So far, I'm winning with the CTS with the exception of the DVD, power rear sunshade on Benz, and the nav has the Google Maps Download to car feature. |

you can play them in park
people are working on trying to find a way to watch them while you drive

I just ran to my car - and yes!! Can watch a DVD in park. Wonder how long it takes to burn down your battery. Any advice? |

Just FYI, any type of video image playing in a vehicle "forward of the driver's seat" is illegal while driving, in PA anyway. So don't bother trying to find a way to disable this feature. It's there for a reason. |

FYI, the nav system also logs you out of making changes once you go more than 20MPH as well |
