Looks sweet, was thinking of getting mine tinted when it comes in, never tinted windows before, not sure what it is called, but what would the tint rating/darkness be on what you have?
Have seen pictures of red with tint and I like it |

It won't be too dark and not too light. I wish I did 25% all the way on my red STS. |

Have seen pictures of red with tint and I like it | Just be aware that every state has laws that specify what tint levels are legal (and they often vary by window position - front doors, rear doors, back window). If your profile had your state, I could tell you what your state allows. |

Tint tickets are usually secondary tickets and in some states they are strictly secondary tickets. I've been pulled over before for tint but it's only happened when you could tell the cops were trying to meet their quota... I was pulled over 3 times in 2 days lol. I had my Catera tinted 20% all around and I always got one ticket a year. I looked at it as that was my $90 donation to the county. A good tint shop will be able to show you before hand how dark the tint is. The guy I use actually has the legal tint up on a shop window to show people. Here in VA, it's 50% for the front and 35% for the back. IMO neither are worth it. Tint should be dark. I've had friends that went crazy and did the limo tint, 4%, but IMO that's too dark. I'm planning on doing my CTS at 15%. When you first get it it'll take a few days to get used to. A good tint should be 20X5 meaning you can see 20% of the light looking out but looking in only 5%. Plan on getting a ticket but it's not a horrible thing. I was always just honest when asked why I had it and told them it was because it made the car looked nice. Remember you're not tinting a POS car so having a Caddy does has it's privileges... however it also lets the cop think you've got the 90 bucks or so to spare. |

Guess I may have to add that to the front license plate I'm supposed to have, but have no intention of letting the dealer install. Which I've owned my current car for 8 years and never been stopped for. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
