I believe the right way to fully pack an AWD CTS is to get PDR with PDW, and add individual options of choice on top of that, such as nav, wood and donut. That's what I'm going to do unless they significantly reshuffle the options for Russia. |

From the 2008 Online Order / Reference Guide (1 = 1SA, 2 = 1SB):
"PDW NEW! Performance Luxury Package, includes (Y40) Luxury Level One Package
and (Y41) Luxury Level Two Package
1 - Requires (PDR) Performance Collection. Not available with (MN6) Aisin 6-speed
manual transmission, (PDP) Luxury Collection, (PDQ) Premium Luxury Collection, (UAV)
AM/FM stereo with CD/DVD player, MP3 playback, Bose 5.1 Cabin Surround Sound
10-speaker system and HDD-based navigation with XM NavTraffic/Real Time Weather or
Fleet order types. Can upgrade (P75) 18" x 8" (45.7 cm x 20.3 cm) aluminum wheels with
premium multi-coat painted finish to (P63) 18" x 8" (45.7 cm x 20.3 cm) aluminum wheels
with high-polished finish.
2 - Requires (PDR) Performance Collection. Not available with (MX7) 6-speed automatic
transmission for AWD, (PDP) Luxury Collection, (PDQ) Premium Luxury Collection,
(UAV) AM/FM stereo with CD/DVD player, MP3 playback, Bose 5.1 Cabin Surround Sound
10-speaker system and HDD-based navigation with XM NavTraffic/Real Time Weather or
Fleet order types. Can upgrade (P75) 18" x 8" (45.7 cm x 20.3 cm) aluminum wheels with
premium multi-coat painted finish to (P63) 18" x 8" (45.7 cm x 20.3 cm) aluminum wheels
with high-polished finish. Also, can replace (Y42) 18" (45.7 cm) All-Season Tire
Performance Package with (Y43) 18" (45.7 cm) Summer Tire Performance Package. "
After further research, maybe you can get NAV. The radio (U2R) that comes as part of Y40, which is included in PDW, can be upgraded to UAV which is the NAV option. How to upgrade is the next question.

I've seen lots packaged with the P63 polished wheels like this, but you'll end up with the Nav / Y40 / Y41 / Y44 seating / sunroof. For a few bucks less you can get Y43 summer tire instead of Y42 / P63.
I found that PDR / Y41 / Y42 (now PDW) with Nav was close to the above. |

Originally Posted by st4422 Ordering PDQ gets you the sunroof. Getting a loaded CTS without a sunroof is the problem. | It was late and I just got back from a 300 mile round trip to pick up my 2008 CTS. As soon as I hit the post button I realized the thread title included "without ultraview".
I'm in south Florida and have had cars with sunroofs before and never really used them too much (friggin' hot 9 months of the year) so it wasn't a must have for me either. I'm 6'0" and have no head room clearance issues with the sunroof, still a couple inches to spare.
My goal was DI engine / PDR perf pkg / Nav, but really wanted the ventilated seats from lux lev 2 (also wanted black / black which is going to be hotter). I gave up and ended up with a couple options that I didn't need (heated seats and mirrors, for example), and as happy as a clam with the way it worked out. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
