The weather has been pretty lousy here since picking up the car, and I've unfortunately been really under the weather (excuse the pun) for the last few days, so this post will be brief. My immediate impression is that my new CTS is extremely difficult to fault, and I'm very happy to have this vehicle parked in my driveway. What a lovely car.

Hey all,
Thanks for the congrats re my new CTS. I'm absolutely thrilled with the car -- couldn't be happier. GM/Cadillac have done a terrific job with the new CTS.
Feeling a whole lot better now -- thanks for your kind wishes for my speedy return to good health! Actually made it into work today. Everyone there thought I'd just taken off in the new car for a week or two!
Significant fog around here this AM, and when I parked the CTS I decided to take a few pics. Will be taking more photos on Saturday and will post them then, along with a brief report on the car.
Thought I'd post a few pics now from this morning, to give a better idea of what my CTS looks like.

Date delivered to RAB: Oct. 1, 2007 Impressions in brief: Highs: Simply too many to mention. This car does everything REALLY well. Plenty of things to delight. Think it's a bit of a cross between an MB "E-Class" and BMW "3 Series / 5 Series"... only a whole lot better in a variety of ways. As well, I don't really like how those cars look, not to mention their being over-priced.
You feel great behind the wheel of the new CTS. Love seeing drivers of BMW's, Infiniti's and other imports craning their necks for a better look of my CTS as I drive by.  Lows: Non-availability of Bluetooth integration, Intelligent Cruise Control and Voice Recognition (for climate control & audio systems) on 2008 model. Non-availability of B20 Wood Trim on vehicles built prior to Oct. 8/07 (which is a plus to some... but the shift knob really needs wood!). Overall: The best driving, best equipped and best looking sport sedan America has ever produced. I love that this car is in my driveway. Everyone who sees my new CTS4 tells me they want one real bad! How did they work? | gm_eng: I had the fog lights ON during my drive to work on that recent foggy morning here, but to be honest there was just too much daylight cutting through to judge the effectiveness of the 'fogs'. I did determine though that the front end looks very cool with the fog lights ON, along of course with the projector xenon HID headlamps. I've attached a couple more photos taken that morning.
