The dealer riveted the bracket in place during their prep. I am looking at drilling out the rivets and having the holes filled and painted.

the car looks so much better without the plate

got stopped by an old fcuk cop today after i past like 59 younger cops at the check point who apparently dont give a shit bout front plate.

but then when i was at the terminal, a cop (old school) told me that i dont hv my front plate and i responded, oh yeh, i dont hv my rear plate either, go check it out because my car is brand new and i hvnt receive my plates..blah
told him he aint stopping me for a valid reason and i gona hold him responsible for a late fight.. lol seriously when all the cops are working hard fighting against terror as their first priority, and one of them didnt do their job and instead being anal, i got angry.

thanks i juz got zaino total package. i didnt get zaino because im not quite familiar with them.. anyhow, i read that and i understand that i should use z18 and z7 to wash off the car (and tie?) and then do the z5 with zfx, z6 and then z2 w/zfx, then apply z6 again if i want a 2nd coat of z2, otherwise dont apply z6 again right? regardless I will find out and give feedbacks after I tried them.

wonder what would you recommend for tie.. i saw z16 is for the tie.. but how about the rim. also wonder what specific solution i show apply for the handcraft leather for the interior... you know the side and front?

edit: southern, you can help out too, i know you use zaino for a long time thanks

PS: for the matter of 20 inch tie, do i juz change the tie.. like the rubber section and the rim or i have to change the entire wheel, if so is it safe if I elect not to use the OEM FE3?

I use the Z6 between coats of Z5, and also after I apply Z2. I don't use the ZFX unless I need to (based on weather conditions). I maybe should not be applying Z6 after the Z2 but this is how I have always done it. I feel it picks up any residue left over from the Z2 I may have missed.

I use the Z10 on all leather surfaces, Z16 for the tires, and just wash the rims with the Z7

Wow...that's a lot of Zs to keep straight. Seems a bit nutty to have so many different formulas to buy and keep track of how to use, but I suppose that's just the price of perfection.

I wash with Dawn dishwashing liquid the first time and about once a year or 18 mos after that.
Dawn will take off all waxes and road film. Dawn is built to remove grease. Carnauba wax is grease.

After that, for the normal washes, I use Zaino Z7 car wash.
Then I use only Z2 with ZFX.
I put on 3-5 coats of micro thin coats.
When people have problems with Zaino it is almost always because they put it on too heavy. I mean it has to be MICRO thin!
Like CalCustom I use Z10 on the leather (every 3months), Z16 for the tires (every other car wash or so), but I use Z2 on the wheels every (3 mos.)
I redo the Z2 on the body, plastic and all, every 6 to 9 months.
I have never gotten into the Z6 detailer spray, but I see it used a lot, and I like it......
