The poster was me. And yes, it was (is) a PR photo, representative of the 'pre-production' 2008 CTS.
That explains the different color of the Nav screen in the image.

I posted 3 similar photos in June/July 2007 (all with the Ebony interior).
I went to some trouble getting the images, as photos of the '08 CTS equipped with an Ebony interior weren't available anywhere at that time.

I've attached the 3 photos once again for the benefit of those who missed my original postings last summer.

Thank you RAB. Yes, those must have been very hard to find. I remember this was the only place I was able to see a selection of interior choices before production (good thing I wanted ebony).

Love the grill, don't care for the pillars, hate the camera. Such distortion. The bottom right makes the car look 6 ft high and 10 ft long..... Oh, yeah, love the color too!

I'm liking the grille also....I'm not big on those pillar post anymore.....Also, this website have some cool mods for the CTS, http://www.egclassics.com/inventory/index.php I have the chrome stick-on pillar post on my Charger RT and I'm kind of sick of them to be honest...it's like a fad that's kind of played out; However, the chrome pillar post use to be popular;.....My dislike for them now is this, you are adding a stick-on plastic chrome material to a Caddy, doesn't seem right...I'm not talking about your car because I have them on my RT Charger, which I plan on trading in for the CTS......When I get the CTS, I'm doing no modding, just 22's and that's it.....Sometimes when you add on cheap mods, like 'stick-on', it kind of brings it down somewhat, expecially on a Caddy......The grille doesn't look bad because it's bolted on, thus not having that 'cheap' mod feel......Do yourself a favor, remove the pillar and put some 22's on your Caddy...One thing that I have learned about modding is that it's ok to mod, but you still want it to look like a Caddillac; when you mod to the point where it doesn't look like the car you purchased, then it starts looking tacky.....You want to keep the car orginality(sp?).....To be straight out and blunt, the grille looks expensive and the pillar post looks cheap.....Take it from me, I've learned from my own doing...

I've got another request (2, actually)

Any shots of the manual shifter, and the center stack of a CTS without the NAV or DVD stereo (ie. the base or 6-disc), specifically the screen. Even better might be some shots of the display while it's on.

Here are some shots of my CTS. Taken just before the snow began to fly. The 20" wheels have since been traded for Chromed 18" CTS Wheels. It rides much better since the wheel swap. The grille, tinted windows and wheels were done by the dealer before I bought the car.

lease car you can do it, but u have to take it off before you turn the car in or else you may get charged
but it really depends on the dealer
some dealers dont care about tint really because it makes most cars look better
