Either way congratulations on your car! Its beautiful.
Enjoy
JB | That depends on your dealer. If they participate in a co-op advertising program, they will charge you an advertising fee. I don't do business with dealers in co-op advertising arrangements. Per the GMS program rules, the dealer is limited to $75 in other dealer fees. |

Congrats on your new car, I hope to see you driving it around town. I am up in Allen, TX.
Can you show us a few close ups of what the dial looks like for the keyless ignition on the steering column. Thanks. |

Supposedly, the CTSs are hauled by rail, not truck transport. In my case, it goes by rail to Arlington, TX (in the Dallas/Fort Worth area) and then by truck to the dealer. Hope yours arrives soon. I'm sure the wait is killing you. |

I'm surprised it's that high. My C6 is 30/30. Today is my salesman's day off, so maybe I'll get mine tomorrow? Yeah, the wait is killing me. |

Noticed the front license plate bracket that the dealers have to put on in Illinois. While I hate the look, I know that without it you will have marks from a____oles who still do the touch parking system system of parking. In Chicago, you can't avoid them |

The truly revolutionary part of this car is supposed to be both the interior and exterior lighting systems. I would love it if you could take a picture of both the Nuance lighting inside the car, and the rear and front lighting at dusk.

Originally Posted by IgotmeaV saw your pics on corvetteforum earlier today ... isnt this wifey's car...lol | Yes it is. I drive a C6, she drives the CTS (an '04 and now the '08). However, I'm driving the CTS this week while she is out of town. Plus, most of the time when we are going somewhere together we take her car (and I drive). She doesn't like the Corvette, so we seldom take it. She drives out of necessity, I drive because I enjoy driving.
There seem to be a lot of CTS owners who also own a C6. |

Funny because my wife's car is the Mag Red C6 and the 2008 CTS is replacing my Seville. Normally, when we go somewhere, we take the C6 unless were going somewhere where I have to leave the car parked for a long time. In those cases we take the Cadillac. When we go somewhere together, I almost always drive. |

I've been looking for a new car for quite some time. The new CTS caught my eye from the first time I saw a picture of it. Every thing I've heard about it just confirms that.
Only thing that's left is to test drive one and decide if I want an automatic or manual, or RWD or AWD. I know I'm getting the bigger engine, and unless I change my mind when I see one in person, I think I'm going with the Titanium interior.
Looking forward to hearing more impressions about it after you've had it for a while.

After waiting for this car since I saw it at the Detroit Auto Show 8 months ago, my dealer called me today and told me it arrived. I pick it up tomorrow! Identical to the white diamond in this thread. I cant wait! |
