I concur with ral1960, all leather steering wheel is the way to go, although wood on shift knob looks good too, but since one can't have both, I prefer no wood on them altogether. |

As for no B20 option, I can live without the wood on the top section of the steering wheel, but I really think the shift knob would look better with the wood trim on it. If they ever become available, I may have one put on. |

Awesome info. Thanks so much. So it's not dark gray/black looking after all. Me likey.
I seriously like your color combo for ease of care. |

That's what I'd like to know. | I am expecting to take delivery of the EXACT car as described in this thread. Our MSRP's are identical. My retail price was $43,730 before tax. Given the size of the car, the options, and its new positioning "above" the entry level... I think I'm getting a great value. |

Great looking car, terrific photos. Thanks for the post.

I'm sorry but I just cannot get any love for that ginormous, blinged-to-the-hilt, ghetto-ized front end.
But the rest sure is purty! |

| | Cadillac Owners Fanatic | | | | | Re: Took Delivery of My New '08 CTS - Pics Inside you can't go wrong with the diamond white with the sts/cts body style...the placement of the nav screen which has some touch screen buttons seems awful high relative to the driver's position...do you need to lean forward to use the onscreen buttons?

| | Cadillac Owners Fanatic | | | | | Re: Took Delivery of My New '08 CTS - Pics Inside i must say that there's no comparison between the first iteration of the cts and 08's....the additional width between the wheels makes all the difference in the world...the first generation looked way too top heavy and narrow...they didn't sit right, imo.
onething about that outrageous frontend on the 08: what do you do if you must put a license plate on the front? that will absolutely KILL the looks of the car from the oncoming view....they definitely put form over function on the front end.

Could I ask a couple of questions? On the passenger side of the car, front bumper, between the headlight and parking light, three o'clock position, there is an offset square indentation. What is that? Are those the 17 or 18 wheels?
Thanks and enjoy

I actually had the unique experience of being invited to Lansing and seeing my car being built at the end of July. So I've actually seen my car, but I just havent gotten it yet. It "should" be coming either tomorrow or Tuesday.
Cant wait to get it!
Congrats on getting yours. | Well this makes three of us. My order is exactly the same--including the spare tire option. As far as prices are concerned, I know someone that negotiated a great price without being a GM employee or supplier. And to answer another question above, those are 18 inch wheels. The dash is cocoa (dark brown-not black) and that's real French stitching--not embossed plastic that looks like sticthing--across the dash. |

What is that?: | Thats the tow-hole. YOu pop that square out and theres a hole in the metal bumper underneath where you screw in a towhook....then they tow you if necessary....very Euro.
