2008 CTS Inventory found on gmbuypower

I was able to find 2008 CTS inbound inventory on the gmbuypower.com website--with a workaround. The site is not yet updated for 2008 Cadillac models, but by searching for 2007 CTS inventory you can modify the resulting internet address line for a 2007 CTS search by then modifying and making the "year=2008" rather than "=2007" . I also modified the "proximity=5000" to get a large result set. You can then view the window sticker for each car and dealer destination. Repeat the step to "build" a 2008 CTS.

My 2008 CTS order is in...

P.S. 43 units show up nationally in all colors except Black Cherry. White Diamond is the leading color. Saw one AWD.

using the same technique to search the inventory you can also build your own cts.. just go into the address bar and change it from 2007 to 2008 and you can build it..

That's a nice catch. I found a silver SIDI with ebony at a nearby dealership (not the one I ordered from).

Wow...Just *built* a Black Cherry CTS and um...it's really bright (at least on my monitor it is). I wonder how close the configurer is to the real color because I think I would grow tired of that really fast. I have plans on keeping this car for a long time. I can't see me driving that color for 12 years like I have driven my last vehicle. I was really hoping for something much darker.

Do you think the salesman just didn't know or could GM buy power be suggesting its on its way?

GM BuyPower is showing vehicles at dealers that have definitely not arrived yet. Probably starts showing them at the dealer once it is invoiced to the dealer (status 4150). Anyone know for sure how it works?
