Who else thinks the 08 Malibu design resembles the 08 CTS?

I like the new Malibu a lot. In fact I think its one of GM's best designs.

If I could talk my wife into a bow tie product I'd be ordering one for her. I believe its that nice a vehicle.

That said I don't see the similiarity between the CTS and the Malibu other than they are both well designed four door sedans.

JMO and like I said both great products.

( Not a fan of that red though...)

It looks more to me like they used our grilles from the 03-07 CTS and reversed the order (lower bacame upper and upper became mid) removed the logo and powder coated them black. That mid grille looks a lot like the v-grille shape to me.

The shape of the nose and the hood is almost like the 08 CTS is what I meant.

And it's a shame the designers just gave up on the rear-end of the Malibu. It's like they just said "ahhhh **** it".

My girlfriend has the 06 Malibu SS. I'm telling you that car has some balls. I was suprised when I drove it how much power it has in it. She wants to get the 08.
