Here Are Those CTS V Wheels We Love

I put these wheels on about two months ago and I couldn't be happier. With the new wheels, this car turns so many heads!

Please disregard the chrome pillars lol. When I get the time and energy, I plan on removing them. Although, is it bad to admit they're kind of growing on me?

Car looks great, just curious, you have a CTS4 and I thought the CTS V rims were staggared and staggared cant go on an AWD. Please clarify, I am curious and I have the identical car and thought they could not fit on

When I did my intial research on the wheels, I ran into this same concern. I consulted with quite a few "experts" on the matter (including the head engineer at my company; we build vehicles) and I came to find out that AWD cars are affected by 'rolling diameter' not wheel width. Therefore, the fact that the V wheels are 9' fronts and 9.5' backs (staggered) doesn't interfere with an AWD system. The actual height/rolling diameter of the wheels determines if they'll mess with center differentials, ABS, AWD, etc. and my calculations showed a negligable difference in rolling diameter for these wheels.

Over the last 2 months my car hasn't driven or responded any differently with the new wheels. I am fairly confident no problems will pop up, but to be honest I wouldn't be entirely shocked if something did. But again, I did quite a bit of research before I purchased these wheels.

Not sure where Leominster is, but I'm located in Pittsfield (western mass); we basically border the NY state line. And I'll have to keep my eye on that Summer Meet, I wasn't aware of it before. Thanks for the heads up...

Very nice. I'm liking it. Is your lower front chin spoiler chrome? It looks like the front part is chrome or something. But it might just be the lighting.

yes there is a chrome strip on the bottom of the front bumper...that part i actually do really like. i think it draws in the chrome strip at the top of the grill, above the caddy emblem.

thanks for the compliment. i ultimately bought the wheels/tires from Detroit Wheel and Tire, but I spoke with several people about getting these wheels including Luke Lindsay at Lindsay Cadillac (great guy, extremely helpful), Gene Culley of GM Parts House and Ed Radowith with Wheel Collision Center. Everyone I talked to was great, it just so happened that Detroit Wheel and Tire placed the wheels on ebay around the same time I was trying to find them at other places.

Thanks much. I looked on eBay earlier & none were listed. Needless to say, next time my car is in for service, I will ask my dealer. I am assuming they will be too pricey from the dealer.
