It's actually very easy on this vehicle, and looks INCREDIBLE with the 6000K HID's I put in the fog lights, this mod allows you to run the light pipes in the headlights and the fog lights only for a VERY menacing look. All you need to do is remove the two fuses shown in this schematic. Both are located in the fuse box under the hood and are easy to remove/reinstall.
Due to size limitations for attachments you might have to save this schematic and blow it up to make it readable but it does work.

If GM would have done the DRL's properly I would have left them connected, They use teh same filament as the turn signal.

Its the only incandescent lamp on the outside of the vehicle and it just looks out of place. I'm running the light pipes on the side of the headlights and my HID fog's now as my DRL's and it looks AMAZING (again only my opinion I've been known to be wrong occasionally hehe)

By doing this your fog lights are coming on instead of your drl's or are you turning them on each time you take off. Also do you get any warning chimes because you no longer let the drl's come on. |

Florida, does anyone have a recommendation for doing work, like the HID fog lamps? Yes, I can probably do it, but I live in a condo (no garage) and am lazy.
Any suggestions would be welcome. |
