    What intake did you install in your 3.6l lfx

    I have a '12 cts coupe and i cant seem to find a decent intake. K&n typhoon doesnt look like a well made product.

    there are no intakes for the lfx as far as i know

    I installed a K&N filter only.

    The typhoon is fairly new and is one of the first that works for the lfx. It comes with its own maf adapter.

    I have not put one in. Nor would I ever.

    From the factory the intake is pretty darn good. And an intake isn't much good without a high flow exhaust.

    are you sure ? I'm reseaching and its not listing that this works with the LFX engine on most sites...if it does I'm getting it because its our only option.. nut i thought there was none for the LFX?

    You physically take the sensor itself out of the original and put it in the kn one. But as I said. From the factory it's already is a cai so you won't see any benefit.

    You will get a noise you like better. Then causing you to put your foot down more and hence the feeling of more power.


    It's a bit of a placebo effect.



    After checking the website again. It is listed for 2012 but not 2013.

    Their install instructions show it on an lfx.

    Ask them before buying.

    So don't take my word for it
