    Differential in 2010 3.0L?

I've been trying to search out information, but I can't find anything solid. Anybody know what type of diff they use in the rear of these things? Are they pretty strong?

    Thanks!

There are a couple of different rear diffs used in our cars. A good place to start looking is on eBay, there seem to always be a few for sale. Look at the photos, most ads have photos, some with the tags showing make and model info.

The V units are different than the v6 units. That means the v6 units aren't going to handle the power of a v8 too well.

When properly spec'd, they don't seem to fail. I haven't heard of one in the year I've been active on the site.

    Good Luck, Marv

Found it! The diff info is tied to the suspension code. FE1 has an open diff. FE2 & FE3 both have a limited slip.

That may not be 100% right, you need to find the G80 code to be sure.
