    Any love for the 3.0's?

I'm loving my car so far, but I am a little bummed that it's not the 3.6. I honestly thought there was only one v6 option.

Are there any popular websites for aftermarket parts for the 3.0L?

I like my 3.0 and don't find it under powered just need to rev it.

Peak torque is only 223 and occurs @ 5700 rpm. The car is over 2 tons. There is no economical aftermarket remedy for this.

A small turbo kit or supercharger would respond amazingly well to the direct injection on the 3.0L. Even running 5-7lbs of boost would have this engine feeling like a strong V8.

    Ahhh, the good 'ole days.

So essentially the answer to my question is no. There are no good online shops for aftermarket parts. Thanks for your insightful responses.

Don`t disagree but I have yet to see a kit for this application. Mace Engineering in Austrailia has "talked" for quite a while about developing camshafts as this engine is used in a Holden down under.

Well, I didn`t exactly say that, www.nopi.com is an example. I limited myself with the idea of a substantial increase in useable power ( Nitrous misses that boat for me) and the word "economical"

My Denali was way faster but now I don't have to slow down for stuff, I will take handling over the power so I am happy.

The 3.0 is an awesome engine, only difference from the 3.6 is displacement and the CNC Ported TB is a good mod, but I agree....lets put a small single turbo on it and bump it up a 100 plus HP and see how you like it!

Didn't know that. So essentially it's like an LS engine where the parts are interchangeable with the different displacement versions?

For the most part. The IM, water pump, oil pan, etc. are all the same...timing set is the same as the 3.6 as well. Great motor!
