Quit screwing around and put the damn breaks on the car.

    I like the rotor choice.

So talking to my mechanic at Coleman Cadillac he said that unless I'm going Brembo like is250 it really isn't advisable to switch from stock flat rotors. I guess this is the general consensus.

Mechanics! They never seem to get the "Looks" part.

He and just about every other technician back there loved the rims though. They were all like "usually it's all older people driving these things so you don't see much customization". They were all smiles. Caddy is drawing some fresh blood I guess.

On my 3/4 ton the GM performance parts slotted and cross drilled rotors drastically improved resistance to fade, especially while towing. Even empty with a 7000 lb truck, the made a big difference. No cracking to date and I have over a 100 k miles on the front rotors.

I think cracking is more related to poor quality rotors. I certainly have never had a cross drilled disc crack on a motorcycle and all of mine have oem cross drilled rotors. I think the cost and maybe dust is what stops the factory from including these on cars.

I would rather have more dust and better stopping than the opposite.

Did you change pads with the rotors?
